Apple MacBook Pro —
The Macbook Pro is designed for excellence. I have th e15" screen because I travel a lot, and find the smaller size easier to transport. If I were not flying constantly, I would prefer the 17" screen. I have an older model with the Tiger OS. With Apple, I prefer to wait awhile when a new operating system comes out befoer I upgrade. In that way, the bugs can be worked out. The Leopard OS has many features that I would love, so eventually I will upgrade.As a rule, the computer does not run hot. If the fan comes on, it is usually because I have too many applications open at the same time. I just open up the activity monitor to see which apps are consuming the memory. I close out the apps I don't need. The computer is pricey, but I love it. One of my favorite things is the keyboard that lights up in low light. It is great on a darkened airplane or in any low light situation.
