    makes me feel like a techno-geek, macs blow pc's out of the water, user-friendly, easy to set up, has everything I need, works great with other creative apps

Apple MacBook Pro — 

I love my MacBook Pro. Got it in January and lusted after it for months before that. Saved up my money, got the one with the Intel chip. Best purchase I ever made. At my part-time job, I work on a pc (because I'm forced to), but I'm a Mac girl through-and-through. I'd never even consider owning a pc. I have a home voiceover business, and record via Pro Tools, which works seamlessly with the Mac. I also have a Mac Mini, but this is absolutely the best computer I've ever owned. AND it's portable! Life is good.
