I have had Apple computers for 20 years at home and used Window computers at work. I had no problem in deciding which to buy when my iBook was destroyed when our basement flooded. I chose the Macbook because there were times that I had to use Windows at home to work on a project for work and it had the wonderful feature of having Parallels software installed which allowed me to run Windows programs. This allowed me the option of using one computer and not have to bring one home to use from work. Now I had the best of both worlds on one machine.

Pros: The Macbook also has a magnetic power adapter that unhooks quickly. Intel Core Duo processor, iSight camera, and it is light, 5 lbs, which makes it easy when traveling.

Con: It did not come with an internal modem so I had to purchase an external modem. Which really isn't a problem unless you need to use dialup.
