At .75 inches, Apple has created the world's thinnest notebook. But don't mistake size this power. with 1.86 gHz, or the optional 2.06 gHz, these laptops are able to compete with the power of your friends' machines while bragging, "My entire computer is thinner than your screen."

Being a website/graphic designer, I require large, resource hogging programs such as Flash, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver to run simultaneously. On the MacBook Air, one hardly notices the difference when running one or three at the same time.

Others criticize the computer for being fragile. The MacBook Air is built out of...

The MacBook Air is the perfect travel computer given the lightweight features, the multiple applications and the feature I enjoy most is the ability to run either as a Mac or Windows PC.  I have used both Apple computers and many types of Windows based computer over the last 22 years (yes they had computers, big, bulky, SLOW, ones but computers) and just love the Air.  I have partition the hard drive up so that I can use VM Fusionware which allows me to have a "screen within a screen" eg my Windows laptop is up in the corner of my Mac screen - that way I can do certain business software which...

Summary: Before I say anything about the MBA, for those of you who don't have one or never used one, GET OFF THIS FORUM. I have had it with people who like to express an opinion before they've seen the product. What's worse is how many of you have rated the machine so low before seeing it. So get out of here!

Now, the Macbook Air is NOT for everyone. It should not be considered a primary notebook. It is a true subnotebook in every sense - few ports, no optical drive, etc. But consider the following. It does have an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and at 1.6 GHz in a machine this small is not too shabby....

I use the computer everyday, almost 80% of my day. I have to say I LOVE my macbook air, it has everything and anything you will ever need. I love the Ichat, the Imovies, the ilife you can download. I love the layout of the computer. I love how the computer has a built in video camera so I can now ichat or skype with my close friends, family, people who live across the country or state. The internet is extremely fast, clear and useable. I would recommend this computer over any other laptop I have had just becauyse of the durability, the sleekness, the look and the overall everything of this computer....

I absolutely LOVE my MacBook - and so does my family! Some days I can hardly get on it.  We own three pcs and one mac - and they are always on the mac!

 I love:

the portable size - I can use it on the couch, in bed, on an airplane, etc

how fast it is

how easy it is to navigate

all of the included applications, including Itunes, Imovie, iphoto, idvd and ical

I never get viruses or spam

I finally got a portable way to lead out my peripatetic lifestyle. As a magazine editor, musician composer, sales and marketing rep, and single mother, I need to have all of my occupations at my fingertips and be able to take them with me. With my Macbook I can do just that. I wouldn't be able to keep up with my life without it.

Will never buy another PC again!  Windows is the worst, Apple is the best!

i have never had a mac computer of any kind.

the apple devise i have is and ipod touch .

i think they are very expensive machines. i cannot afford

one. but i sure that every mac is worth it. they are made with only the

best of the best in the technology world. nothing but the best indea.

every machine is designed to pay off what people pay for them.

i would say 2000 dollars that they are worth is good. cause it is going to pay of

in the end anyways. i dont think that there is someone out there that doesn't like an

apple laptop or desktop. even bill gates the creator...
