I would buy this product again

4

This product is good for individuals who have a lot of business work or school work in their lives. It is also a useful product for those who like to surf the web but do not want an actual computer, and would rather have something small and something that they can take with them anywhere and everywhere.

I bought this Macbook Air about a week ago. The shipping was super fast and the seller answered all my questions! I've always wanted a Macbook Air and was very glad to finally get one. It's very light weight and easy to carry around. Since I've always used Microsoft, I still have to get used to Yosemite but it's great overall! I 100% recommend this computer. My only real complaint is the amount of storage it comes with but you can buy more storage once you get the mac.

Higher end "netbook" but fun!

If you are looking for something light but more powerful than an iPad and is a Mac, that really only leaves you with one option, the Macbook air. I am a self-defined mac lover so this review might be biased, but I love their products. I have a Macbook Pro and decided to sell an old Mac laptop to purchase the Macbook Air. It is so much lighter than the Macbook Pro. I really like it and currently carry the Macbook Air around with me a lot and travel with it. I use the application Dropbox to ensure that I have access to files on my Macbook Pro that I might need so it makes it really easy to transfer files. Also I can sync the laptops together and use the Macbook Pro's DVD/CD drive to install data or anything else I might need the CD/DVD drive for. The screen is small and your eyes can get a little tired looking at it for too long. I am near sighted so it was a little strange switching back after using the Macbook Air for a few weeks straight without seeing my Macbook Pro 13". The solid state hard drive is fantastic, boots quick, silent, doesn't heat up. It's priced high but if you're looking for a small version of a Macbook Pro this is a great substitute or complement.

Improvemnt of Apple comps and laptops

4

To start off, I jsut want to say that I am a Apple Fan and expect great products from the company but this laptop was pretty much the same as the other desktops and laptops that I have bought from the Apple store. Yes, this laptop is much slmmer and n ot as heavy as the other laptops like the 13 inch but the main function of this product is the same that i have seen in the 13 inch one. I reall do liek how it is a touch screen and has a trackpad but of course you can also buy those at the store and include it with ur laptop. I really like laptops because they are so portable and the weight of this product makes it easier for me to travel. On the other hand, it is not much of a great improvement that I wished to see fromt hsi magnificent company. The funmction and the extra accesseries can be found and bought in the store separately and the cost is really huge! I was very lucky to get a bonus and raise in order to afford this product. In other words, I really do like Apple rprdcts but this doesnt amaze as much as I see int eh commericals.

The Perfect Combination of Power and Portability

5

Apple's new Macbook Air 11.6" notebook is the perfect combination of power and portability. Even though it lacks the latest and greatest processor, it makes up in a good balance between speed, portability, and battery life (about 4.5 hours of real-world use). The notebook sports a radical redesign, offering solid-state memory built into the board over the traditional spinning hard drives and solid-stated memory enclosed in a drive, this offers a huge boost in performance that you can see right away and much need battery life. The screen is absolutely beautiful, it has the same amount of pixels as the 13" Macbook Pro but in a 11" frame. The built quality is what we have come to expect from Apple's unibody design; no flex, thin, light and sturdy. It has two built in USB ports, which is plenty for the average consumer. Apple has also included the huge glass multitouch trackpad, which is interesting and will be much more useful with their next OSX update, Lion. Overall, the Macbook Air 11" is a great portable laptop and for most a great primary computer. It doesn't have the horsepower to do heavy video editing but if you are the average consumer looking for a way to surf the web and check your email, the Macbook Air can do that and much more.

Light as Air, Fast as Light

5

I have always been a PC user. Mac computers always seemed over-hyped and over-priced. However, when I recently entered the market in search of an ultra-portable notebook and stumbled across the Macbook Air 11" I was intrigued. Sturdy, slim, lightening fast, a full size keyboard, multi-touch trackpad, great screen resolution and a striking piece of design. The price tag was difficult to swallow, but after thorough research (and constant reassurance about how much I would love my mac from my mac using friends) I decided to put my misgivings aside and go for it. I'm so glad I did! This laptop is perfectly suited to my needs! As a graduate student portability is key. With the Air I don't have to think twice about brining it to lectures, seminars, tutorials, conferences, coffee shops, weekends away etc. The Core 2 Duo processor was one of my concerns, but honestly, it is more than sufficient -this machine is super fast and so quiet! It starts up, shuts down and "wakes" at a remarkable speed. OS X is also a refreshing change from the Windows platform and easy to use. As a pleasant surprise I also find the battery life to be longer than the suggested 5hrs - I mainly use it for word processing, powerpoint, web browsing and light streaming and I consistently get 6-7 hours out of it (with the screen dimmed). I still use my old 15" HP for extra storage, but even in its heyday I didn't love it the way I love my Macbook Air. Now I can see why Mac users are always raving about their machines. If you're looking for an ultra-portable quality notebook, the Macbook Air won't disappoint!

Apple MacBook Air: 11.6 inches of Pure Portability & Performance

5

For most of us PC users out there, we are often intrigued when it comes to the realm of Apple products; they seem to always be in fashion, even with the premium "Apple tax" that is imposed on all of their items. Despite the high cost of these products, people seems to eat them up as soon as they're released. The Apple MacBook Air 11.6 inch model seems to be just a netbook with the Apple logo and "tax;" however, upon closer inspection (and actual use of the machine), one determines that it is an ultra-portable that's on a level of its own. With brilliant display resolution, high quality parts, and that simple but stunning unibody aluminum design, the Apple MacBook Air 11.6 inch model blows away all ultraportable competition. As thin and light as it is, it leaves a negligible footprint but packs quite a punch; and with Apple's OSX onboard, this computer is a traveler's ultimate computer.

The Apple MacBook Air Floats To 5 Stars!

5

The Apple MacBook Air is the thinnest laptop I have ever seen. When i recieved the box in the mail and opened it I was shocked cause i lifted the computer out and I assumed it was a cover shee to protect the actuall laptop, but I was wrong it was the laptop! For the size of the computer it is dam fast! The Apple MacBook Air lives up to the standards that most people have for macs. It withstands up to the high graphics requirement that I hold macs to as well as a lot of other poeple. It is very fast as well and can handle multiple operations at a time. They keyboard also has a very nice touch to it, the keys do not stick but are also not too hard to press that they become a hassle. This laptop also has a nice feel to its trackpad as well as a nice sized trackpad. There is a tiny downfall to this laptop, it dose not have a cd/dvd drive, but for me it makes no diffrence. I would reccomend this laptop to anyone who wants a thin laptop that lives up to the mac standards that most people expect from mac.

The Apple MacBook Air 11.6 in.: awesome alternative to a netbook

5

I am a die-hard Mac person and have owned an Apple Macbook since 2006. Though it is a great machine, it has been slowing down lately so I decided to get a new computer. I chose the Apple MacBook Air 11.6 in. Mac Notebook because I wanted something light and portable and I didn't feel the need for the extras of a "real" laptop (larger screen, optical drive, etc.). I couldn't be happier! The Apple MacBook Air 11.6 in. Mac Notebook is a great alternative to netbooks. It is VERY light and EXTREMELY portable, but unlike the poor quality netbooks I have used, you don't feel like you are making a sacrifice. In fact, the flash memory means it is quieter and MUCH FASTER than any laptop I have ever used! When you open it up it is on instantly, unlike my old computer, which always took about 15-30 seconds to fully wake from sleep mode. Overall, the Apple MacBook Air 11.6 in. Mac Notebook is the best computer I have ever owned. Until my next Mac!

MacBook Air--awesome

5

I recently decided to buy my wife a laptop.  She was fine with getting a netbook due to the lower price but I really wanted to consider the MacBook air before making any final decision.  I absolutely love apple products and love the fact that there is virtually no worries with regards to viruses.  Well after comparing all of the different models, the MacBook air really stood out for us both, so we purchased it.  It was much more pricey, which was a con as well as it does not always work well with flash and that can be annoying.  The battery life diminishes when using flash but this is not really a big deal for us.  Overall the computer works very well.  It's very stylish and compact. It's lightweight and the track pad is rather large for the smaller size.  It is very versatile with regards to where it can be used comfortably, my wife uses it at the desk, on the countertop, and laying on the couch.  Great laptop.
