I was converted to Macs by my now-husband back in 2003. It is probably one of the reasons why I married him! I have owned and used all the successive models of MacBooks (including the Pro and the Air), and this is the best one yet. Everything is easy to use, intuitive, and visually based. I am a visual...

Item:Laptop Apple

We've been playing with the MacBook for a week or so and have come to a preliminary verdict: Apple may have finally nailed it. The company has corrected a handful of the iBook's shortcomings, hit a totally reasonable price point -- at least for the £749 (inc. VAT) baseline white model...

I love my Apple Laptop! There are all types of uses for this computer. I can take pictures, use a calculator, and watch movies. I can also Duplicate CD's and DVD's as well. Its very lightweight and easy to transport. This product has a wonderful battery life, In fact I was delayed at the airport for three hours and I could still complete my online studies. It's very easy to use and children can use it for school work. If there is a problem with the product Applecare is available. I just think that this is an overall great product. But there are some cons to this product. It is very difficult to...

The first reason I bought the MacBook was for a portable family comptuter for my wife and I. It handed all our files for everyday life great! I then began using the computer for Adobe products such as photoshop and doing some work on it. It runs the Adobe software about as fast as my work computer does. I have also used the computer for burning family DVDs and CDs. The Dual layer dvd drive is the bomb. I have backed up all kinds of files and burned a whole lot of dual layer dvds without any problems. We use the built in video cam for skype with my family. Works great and is fun to talk to anyone...

I upgraded to a new MacBook laptop last year, and have been unhappy and frustrated with it from the start. When my daughter's laptop died a horrible death, I really didn't want to go through the same Vista pains with her, so I decided to replace it with a Mac (it's going to be a Christmas present, so shhh!). As designated tech support for my family and friends, I started learning everything I could about Mac before she started asking questions. The more I learned about it, the more I wanted one for myself, and now that I have one, I am really kicking myself for not switching last year.

It's simply...

I've had a macbook now for four years.  Before, I had only used PC laptops and desktops and was unfamiliar with the OS X operating system and the mac interface.  I switched to a mac after having problems with my Dell laptop.  It took me awhile to get comfortable with the changes on a mac, particularly with finding programs and applications, but after a month it was so much easier to use.  Spotlight makes it very easy to find what you are looking for.  In addition, the laptop is so much lighter to carry or actually use on your lap than any other I have used. This makes it easy to carry around...

The first thing you notice about the new MacBook is its sleek aluminum shape. The tight corners of the old MacBook are gone, replaced with the softly rounded edges of the MacBook Air. Like the Air, the subtle curve makes picking up the MacBook easier, and it rests quite comfortably in the lap for typing.

Lifting the lid reveals the contrasting black glass screen and black keycaps. Instead of the traditional plastic or metal bezel surrounding an LCD panel, a single glass face covers both, extending all the way to the edges of the lid. The effect is even more striking here than in the iMac which...

I bought my MacBook when my second PC laptop in two years died. I spend a lot of time online between school, work, and just randomly surfing the net. All the PC's I have ever had lasted only two years or so before they became so slow and rundown that they were barely usable.

The processing speed is more than adequate for what I do. I work in a biology lab and run a number of modeling and prediction programs on this computer and have never had any problems. It was the least expensive of all the Mac laptops available I feel that it is as good as any of the more expensive ones.

The WiFi works...

I have to admit that when my husband bought his first Mac, I was skeptical.  I was an avid PC user, and I wasn't interested in changing.  The fact that everything on the Mac seemed to be the opposite of my PC didn't make me want to change my mind.  However, after using my Mac for a few days, I began to see the benefits of paying extra for an Apple vs. a PC.  First of all, my Mac is MUCH faster than any PC, and the computer itself seems more stable and made of better quality materials.  I can load the Windows programs I use most such as Word, Power Point, and Excel, so I'm not missing anything...

Its no surprise to anyone who knows me that I am a Mac addict!  I am in love with Apple computers!  I can't help it, they're simply the best.  I got my MacBook probably 2 years ago and I love it!  We've got a few desktops and I used to have a titanium powerbook (unfortunately my baby snapped the screen - they're a little more sturdy now a days!) and haven't had a laptop since then.  This has been wonderful.  It has everything I need, can support all of my applications and projects, is durable and reliable.  I don't want to make this an "I love Macs" post, but really, they're the best!  Its...

My MacBook is one of the best purchases I've ever made.  As a teacher, I need my computer to create lesson plans, research ideas, present presentations, enter grades, and other basic tasks.  Other teachers often complain about some problem they are experiencing with their PC, but I have not had any real difficulties.  Everyone I know with a PC has gotten a virus at one point or another, but after two years my MacBook is still virus free.  The one time I have had issues with the memory, I called customer service and the problem was resolved with speed and kindness.

The MacBook has amazing features. ...

I was a sceptic who had only owned PC's.  I bought my first Macbook around a year ago and I have to tell you that I have been happily converted.  I bought the 13 inch with an 80 gig hard drive.  It came with two gig of RAM which I upgraded to the max of four.  I have to say that I just love the operating system and all the software that comes with it.  The operating system is not clunky and not prone to the many viruses of Window's based machines.  My system doesn't freeze up on me anymore.  I thought I would have difficulty learning a new system but was surprised by how easy the Mac is...

The MacBook was truly one of the best investments I have ever made, and I have always been a PC. At first, I was nervous. I had always heard about how hard it was to work a mac. How it was so complicated to figure out the new system. I can honestly say Macs are the computer for dummies. I am by no means technologically inclined and I have managed to put together wonderful documents, presentations, and videos all with the MacBook I purchased last year.

It is a wonderful tool for new computer users or those who need to keep organized. Using tools like "finder" you can easily locate any document with...

The 13" Macbook has been my third laptop now, and it is by far my favorite. My last laptop was a Dell Inspiron that consistently had hard drive problems that would take hours to fix after being on hold with tech support for even longer. Since I got this laptop, I have been thrilled. The OSX i incredibly simple to use or learn if you are new to Macs. It took me a few weeks to get used to some of the shortcuts (using the "Apple" key instead of the "Ctrl"), but you quickly adjust and it becomes natural. The only negative aspect of the laptop though is the video card. While the laptop is the "entry...

My family is a PC/ HP user and I was the first to step over the boundaries into the Apple world. I decided to get a Macbook because I'm going to college as an Art major and most art programs use Macs. I choose the Macbook specifically out of all of the Macs because it was in my price range, being a college student and all. I have yet to have a problem with it. Although I do suggest either getting a hard cover or a slip cover for your laptop because my outside is scratched up. That could be because when I first started college I just would slide it in my purse along with everything else and my books....
