I admit it, I'm an Apple cronie. Ever since I was forced to start using a Mac for work back in 2004, I grew to love Macs and I don't think I could ever go back to a PC. I'm typing on my Macbook right now! Macs are so intuitive, and somehow you end up learning more about how your computer actually works and how to make it do what you're trying to do. With PCs, I always felt like I didn't quite understand the questions it would ask me, and I was always doing some sort of workaround because I couldn't figure out how to get my computer to do what I wanted it to do in the first place. Back in 2004, there were compatibility issues between Macs and PCs, but really, they are nonexistent now. The 13" Macbook is nice and compact, although it is a bit heavier than the new models available. I bought my Macbook back in 2007 and it's still doing well (fingers crossed). I'm still on my original battery, too, which I think is amazing because I'm pretty sure it's well past the number of charges you are supposed to get from one battery, as I am constantly on my computer. The only negative is that the new power cord is NOT compatible with older models--I burned through two before I taped my old charger up with electrical tape and continued using it.

Overall its a great product but its not for what a business partner would need. The mac doesnt even come without any excel or powerpoint software and you would need to buy it seperately. Great for a youngster in college though so if your son or daughter needs a computer for college this one is top of the line.

I was a little sceptic about buying a laptop at first but I really needed one. I asked some of my friends what laptop I should buy and most of them told me that I should buy a mac laptop because it can do all of these cool and amazing things. They told me that I could not get any viruses and that I was fast reliable and much more. I am happy to say that they were right. This computer is fast and reliable. This computer also does not get any viruses which I am happy about becuase you could go on the most random site and still pick up a virus for no apparent reason and then your computer is shot. I am also happy that this computer has had nothing wrong with it so far. It is also lightning fast and it loads youtube videos almost instantly. I am so happy with that becuase I watch youtube videos and hulu videos a lot. I am happy with this computer and I would not trade it for any other computer out there. good stuff 5 stars.

I had just got into art school and was quite happy with my trusted sony laptop. I knew that alot of kids in the school would be using Apple as it was an art school but wasn't prepared to learn that everyone used one, including the teachers, library and the labs, i was then forced to save up and spend money on a new apple computer. My sony would be given to my younger brother who seemed to have been eyeing it for real long. I researched the Apple computers and found the cheapest one was this particular white macbook, and i got a student discount on it as well, which was real nice as i saved on the tax amount. The macbook arrived at my student store and i finally felt like a part of the college, how much ever sad that sounds it is true. The computer was awesome, stylish and had almost all the software i needed loaded on, i got photoshop installed on a student discount so i was good to go, i am glad my school made my buy this, as the intuitive and east interface makes it a charm to use. the graphics are super bright and cool, i hope to buy the high end one soon.

The 13" White MacBook is an excellent laptop for an older machine. It's compact without sacrificing power, making it ideal for lower-end users who want something small and portable but capable of doing anything they could throw at it. I have one that's over four years old at this point, and it's still running strong. Short of games, it has more than enough power to handle pretty much any application, and several at once. The only shortcoming of the system is the plastic case, which after four years can start showing some wear and tear, including small cracks, particularly around the lower edge where the wrists hit repeatedly and along the hinge where the greatest stress gets applied (from opening and closing the laptop repeatedly). However, the case is really the only issue of concern--with 2 GB of memory, the machine has plenty of power and memory to handle several tasks simultaneously without any lag.

  The Apple Macbook is probably the most simplest laptop ever. I even forgot the price tag of this laptop since it was so efficient and easy to use. Anybody can use a mac laptop since it has the simplest software ever made. Not complicated at all, very quite and clean. Sleek and not cluttered design. Much better than Dell laptops in quality. The cons however, are that it has really short battery life, about an hour and 30 minutes, the screen is too glossy, which is bad at seeing through direct sunlight, the screen is a dust magnet, the laptop gets really dirty really fast since its all white, the plastic on the sides of the laptop cracks.     The laptop has very good features, such as a web camera, a lot of great softwares, decent speakers, easy to use wifi connection, magnet connected charger, a variety of languages, and basic features all macs have. This laptop is a do everything laptop with plenty of space, light in weight, doesn't get hot at all, clean and egronomic design, and easy to use functions that can be used on a daily basis.
