Hands down the most beautiful monitor I have ever sat in front of. Great looking Brushed Aluminum design to match your Mac. Yes, this is an old design...3 years since Apple updated their monitor line...but it still looks more vibrant (and is just, well, cooler) than any other display I've used. And, having Powered USB from the monitor is truly a beautiful thing.
This 23-inch Apple Display seems to be made for HD! Watching movies (or any HD content) on this thing is a revelation! I wish my TV looked this good.
Resolution is 1900x1200. Quite high.
Color accuracy is just great as well (my wife is a graphic designer).
I also have a cheaper Samsung 22" with a DVI input, and there is no comparison. When hooked up side by side, images on the Apple look bold and beautiful while the Samsung looks washed out.
Very thin bezel. 2 Firewire and 2 USB ports on back of monitor.
Problems? Yeah. It's expensive. It doesn't swivel. While it does tilt, it can't really be fully adjusted for comfort. And, there's only 1 video input.
But on balance, you want a display that looks as good as possible, and this one does that in spades! ~ this is the best I've ever had.
