It's just a keyboard, but it's a nice one

There's not much a review can really say about a keyboard. It's a keyboard, they are all basically similar. So why is this one so great? First off this keyboard has a beautiful look. The keyboard has a nice brushed metal finish that is also incredibly resilient. The lines are minimalistic and clean and the keyboard rests a nice, low angle. The slightly raised keys are easy to type on and offer a decent amount of feedback without being overly loud. The main reason I love this keyboard though is because of how easy it is to keep clean. With the raised keys and the low profile, I never have to worry about all the hairs and dirt that collect in the keyboard. I simple take a rag and brush it over the keys occasionally and that's that. It's clean and simple and isn't that what buying an Apple product is all about? Overall, it's a beautiful, clean keyboard. It's simple, but do you really want anything complicated when you a buying a keyboard?

I bought one of these awesome keyboards right when they came out. I was going to get the older version but the apple store upgraded me to this one at no extra charge, I just had to wait a week or so for it to come out in the stores. The look of the anodized aluminum and the size is why i wanted it. I've had it for about three and a half years now and it's still working perfectly fine. The extra usb connections in the keyboard have also come in handy. I have a mini usb stick that disappears behind the keyboard into the usb slot. Right now it's hooked up to my iMac, I prefer the wired keyboard to the wireless because of the whole battery/recharge deal. That's also why I prefer not to use the wireless mouse even though it is prety cool too. I would recommend this product to anyone. The only complaint that I had is that if you're touching some metal and the keyboard, it might give you a little shock.

Reliable & Easily Maintained

I've owned this keyboard for over a year, and have had absolutely zero problems with it.  Its design ensures that minimal or no debris can enter the interior of the electronics, and its chiclet style buttons are easy on the fingers yet give an assuring feedback when pressed.  This keyboard is very easy to clean with a wetnap or paper towels by simply & carelessly wiping it down.  Apple's built-in software makes the keyboard instantly usable when plugged in, and also easily-configurable for opening different applications or configuring a few different actions to the various unused keys (e.g f13-f19) .  All in all I'd highly recommend this keyboard (or the versions sans num-pad, depending on ones needs) to a friend.     Additionally, it is important to point out that on many apple computers, some USB ports are able to output more power than others, and therefore the keyboard should be plugged into the higher-power USB port if the keyboard will be used as a USB hub.  For instance, on my MacBook Pro 4,1 the USB port on the right gives additional power.  Not all USB devices need a full 500mA of power, but it is good to be able to plug these devices into the spare USB ports on the side/underside of the apple keyboard as needed.
