Apple - Ipod Shuffle 1GB (1st. Gen.) Mp3 Player Review

From the minute I received the iPod Shuffle from my husband, I fell in love!!

Of course, its main selling point is its size.  For me, the size of the product (an inch or so) and the size of the storage space (1GB) is great -- but it's not for everyone.  For example, it's not for the music lover who has thousands of songs in their library, nor is it for the person who likes to look at their iPod and see what song is playing and who it's by.

There are a couple (minor) things that I don't like:

1. The ear buds are not very comfortable.
2. Sometimes, it's hard to find a particular song I want to hear.
3. It didn't come in pink when I bought it, that option came out later! :)

There are a LOT of things I love:

1. It's so tiny, I can carry it in my wallet.
2. It clips wherever I want it to.
3. It doesn't flop around while I'm exercising or walking/running.
4. It holds more than enough songs for me.
5. It can switch between random song selection or go straight through your playlist.
6. It is very durable.
7. It doesn't need batteries!
8. It can play for 12 hours before needing a charge.
9. It comes with a handy-dandy charger that plugs right into the computer.

While the Shuffle is not for the hard-core iPod listener, it works very well for the average listener.  Size and portability are the main factors here, and the Shuffle more than outdoes itself in those areas.
