Apple - iPhone 3GS Cell Phone Review

I received the 3G S Apple iPhone as a gift and I have found it to be the best cell phone I have ever used.  Maybe the reason is because it's more like having a miniature personal computer than a cell phone, but I have really fallen in love with this flashy new iPhone.  Its construction is the same as iPhone models that have come before it, but the improvements have made it one of those must have products when it comes to cell phone technology.  Now I can't really think of the time where I could survive with a phone that couldn't perform as well as this one, and there is no turning back for my future cell phone use.

One of the major improvements to the new iPhone is that it works much faster than the old one.  Internet pages load up immediately, text messages get sent quicker, and games respond quicker to individual requests while they are being played.  Now it's like having a little laptop in front of me at all times, with the exception being that this little iPhone has a great touch screen that allows every control to be enabled by the tap of a finger.  The slight downside to the speed of the 3G S iPhone is that the battery takes a hit when the processor is racing along.  That eats into how long the phone can be used between charges, but I have found that if I charge the phone each night (by just plugging it into the wall) that it is fine to go through the next day.

I really like having the ability to download programs from the App Store, and have many different things available right on my phone.  This includes programs from ESPN that update scores for me, Yahoo Messenger, Facebook, and even a stock market application.  That doesn't even bring into play all of the games that are available for free download.  Some applications cost a little extra, and you can purchase them through an iTunes account, but many of them are free of charge and have proven to be quite useful in my iPhone use.  I love my iPhone and how well it works, how great the speaker is to hear my calls, and that I can view my voice mails and pick and choose which ones to listen to.  I highly recommend the new iPhone 3G S as a phone that everyone that loves being hooked up to the internet will enjoy having around.
