I purchased the Apple I-Pod 8G for my son. He loves it!  It is very thin and an attractive design. It is so easy to download music, videos, pictures, games, etc. off of I-Tunes...Even I can do it! He likes the fact that the screen moves with you and loves how much storage it has. I think the price is reasonable for the quality of the product and the assurance of the Apple name.  We've had the small I-pods that do not have the screens on them and this is so much more convenient for finding the songs you are looking for, it gives you categories to search from ie: rock, alternative, etc.  Also, you can add a picture of the cd cover to go with the songs.
