Most HelpfulI do like my apple 8gb don't get me wrong. On the other hand I have had a couple of problems with it like shutting down all of a sudden and the screen being hard to see. Another thing that is negative about it is that the battery life is very small. I am constantly having to charge it because is...
read full review »I used to own the 2nd Generation of Ipod Nano but it only held 2GB. So this year for Christmas I recieved a purple chromatic Ipod Nano 4th Generation that holds 8GB. I didn't know what to think when I first got it. It works pretty well but I still haven't figured out some of the features and I have had it for over a month now. I love the "shake shuffle" effect where all you have to do is shake the ipod and it will shuffle your songs. The size and make of this ipod is great and perfect but very fragile, so you do have to be careful. One of the things I'm having trouble with is the 'Note, Contacts,...
read full review »I've had a few mp3 players before and never really found myself using them regularly. But our new treadmill has a dock for and iPod and when I saw this iPod Nano 4'th Gen available cheap on Woot.com I decided to go for it.
I LOVE this thing! I've downloaded music, music videos, Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog, an audio book, podcasts, pictures, you name it. It works great with iTunes, the sound quality is terrific and I can't believe how great the resolution is on the little full color screen!
It docks easily (using an inexpensive adapter) to my treadmill and I can use earphones or external...
read full review »Apple iPod Nanos are the best mp3 players around. You get to choose whatever color you want and theres a large variety of colors. You can put a lot of music on these things. Its awesome!! I also love how you can put your favorite pictures on this iPod. I recommend this iPod to everyone. Anyone who loves music should buy this iPod.
I was reluctant about getting an iPod because I am not into fads. I finally broke down and got an iPod Nano because I wanted to easily use iTunes. The sound quality is great and it's cute! I like the colors. My only caution would be to get more space than you think you'll need. I got the 8GB and wish I had gotten the 16GB.
I've been with iPods ever since they first came out. From the Mini to all of the other Nano generations, I own them all. ;)
This has been by far my favorite of them all and is the most aethestically pleasing to my eye (I'd recommend a case to protect it.)
Pros +
Sleek, stylish, comfortable in my hand.. The aluminum casing looks and feels great. The back click wheel really brings out the beauty in it.
To top it off, the screen? Clear, crisp, rich in color.
All that memory!
Not really in the way at the gym. It's small, very light, and because of its shape.. It's fairly comfortable in my pocket....
I purchased my iPod Nano this year and I am abosolutely in LOVE with it! I originally decided to get an iPod after going through a lot of cheaper mp3 players. At first I wasn't excited about paying that much for what I thought was just another mp3 player, but after all of my friends raving reviews I decided I would give it a try... Instant LOVE! My iPod was not only the nicest mp3 player I had ever had but also the prettiest, and easiest to use! With my past mp3 players, hooking them up to my computer was a nightmare, and most of the time I had to pay for software from the internet just to get...

I've never really understood the "haters" - those people who just automatically hate the iPod because of its name and association. Sure, from the moment you purchase that shiny iPod object, you sign your soul over to "the corporation" known as Apple who mandates the iTunes download so you can manage your iPod, and purchases have to be in specified format to even play on the device, and for some inane reason Apple decided to change some configuration between the 4th and 5th generation nano that requires an adapter for it to be played on any "older" equipment, and any malfunction of the device...

We just purchased this after selling our CD disc mans at our Garage Sale over the weekend. Good riddance! We still have one left for the kiddos and it comes in handy with a few albums we still own for it.
It's amazing how small this product is. 8GB and it's practically the size of my credit card or half the size. ...

I originally had a 32 GB iPod because I wanted to watch movies on it. After downloading a few movies from iTunes, I found that watching movies on my iPod was more of a struggle than a luxury. The ideal place to watch a movie on your iPod is on a long car trip, but the glare of the sun made it very hard to see the screen and I had to hold the iPod extremely close to watch the movie. After a slight disappointment with my movie watching experience, I traded my 32 GB in for a brand new 8 GB nano iPod. I have fallen in love with my new nano iPod! It is much smaller than the 32 GB iPod so I...
read full review »After resisting getting an iPod for quite a while, I finally purchased a yellow Nano Chromatic 8gb after a recent cash windfall. I LOVE IT. My husband has a 4gb 1st generation (I think) Nano, and we have a radio transmitter for the car. He listens to audiobooks all the time, and music when we ride together. Now, though, I have my OWN playlists, and get to listen to MY iPod when I'm driving or when we're together. I admit, it's a completely different experience. I've been having a blast rating my songs in iTunes and building smart playlists -- like my Soundtrack Faves list: 4-5 stars, genre=Soundtrack...
read full review »I Love this little IPOD Nano (3rd Generation), Fits nicely in you hand, is so small it fits anywhere. It really hold so much music & videos it really is unbelievale. I also love the fact there are so many colors to choose from and the battery really lasts a very long time. I also like the fact that there are so many rechargers on the market, so you can extend the life of this unit while traveling. Just remember to bring a wall charger with you so you can recharge for the way home. Only thing I don't like, or rather find hard at times is the small screen. Not usually a problem unless...
read full review »I received an iPod Nano for my birthday. This was my first player of this type. It was my time to step up into the new world. It has a great sound and is so easy to use. I think the quality is the best and that is why I chose to go with iPod. I like the choices of colors! The size is perfect for walking and doing housework. Before the iPod, I was using a Walkman, it worked fine but, was so bulky in comparison to the iPod. I was really nervous about setting it up and downloading music. I read the instructions and got started. I set up an account on itunes and everything went very smoothly. The...
