Yes I would love to get my hands on a huge mac pro, but until I do, I am not short on power and utility. It was easy and inexpensive to upgrade the ram to the max 4gb, and haven't looked back. This powerhouse can handle my sometimes intense photo editing, and is the computer of choice for my husbands use of City of Heroes. He had the choice of playing on this or on our pc laptop, but after awhile the updates became too much for the laptop, though it was supposed to be more powerful. The only problem I have had... in the 18 years of personal computer ownership, and 15 years of mac ownership, I experienced my first hard drive failure. It showed up when city of heroes was having a problem loading and after weeks of me trying to figure out why, I finally ran the drive utilities to check the disc (I should have done it sooner!) and it told me the SMART status was an eminent failure. It just so happend the CoH was sitting on the bad sector. It was in the stages of failing, not failed yet, and Apple's Time Machine was a dream to use. I made sure everything was current in the backup, and then replaced the hard drive. Within an hour, my computer was back up and exactly as I had left it, no fuss, no muss, and so little stress! I wish all my computer maintenance was that easy!!!
