Bought this laptop a few months ago and I love it. I'm a college student and it is really nice to carry around because it is really light-you hardly notice the weight of it. The battery life is really good too. It takes 10 minutes or so to fully charge. Ease of Use I just switched over from pc computers and at first the transition was a bit difficult but now its pretty easy. There is a lot of room for customization though and it takes awhile to find what you like and remember how to do it. Battery Life Battery life lasts about a day for me, I use it a lot between homework, reading articles, and watching movies online. Speed/Performance Everything, absolutely everything is fast. The start up is less than 30 seconds and to shut down is closer to 5 seconds. I love it. Design Outside design is simple, clean, just as you would expect from apple. Durability The durability has (thankfully) not been tested yet. I bought a clip on case for it to prevent any damage though. Glad I did too, only a couple of months and the case is scratched quite a bit.

I got this computer in later 2009, now 4 years later I still have it and am still in love. With just minor bumps and bruises to the outside, it's hard to tell that my laptop really is that old. Works just as well as it did when I first got it, even after using it multiple hours daily. I'm so happy with how long this has lasted me and plan on enjoying it for years to come. Battery Life Lasts me a few hours, battery hasn't worsened since I got it. Support & Service Love the apple employees at the stores! So helpful! Speed/Performance Works just as fast after 4 years.

I love my macbook air. I have Hp, IBM Thinkpad, Asus and Dell laptop before but my Macbook air is the best of them all. I like that it's very light and very nice. I used it every day when I get home than my Ipad. I connect it in my flatscreen TV sometimes and watched movie. I can never get tired of using my macbook air. I even bought a leather envelope for it and i just love it. Ease of Use I am only having a problem with the Iphoto because I am still confused on how to use it after having it for a while. But after watching the youtube videos on how to use it I think I'm good. Battery Life My battery lasted around 7 hours but if you adjust the brightness slightly darker it will last longer. Support & Service I have the warranty and apple is always on top with their customer service. Speed/Performance Very fast and I never have a problem rebooting it and shutting it down if I want too. Design I like that it weights really light for a laptop. The thinness of this laptop is incredible. Durability Very durable.

I am a full-time law student. I primarily use this for research, web-browsing, and documents. I carry this to work and school on a daily basis, and I was looking for a lightweight laptop to serve these needs. This exceeds my expectations. I bought the Macbook Air with the knowledge that there is no hard drive. I take extra precautions such as saving all of my documents on a cloud service. There are many out there, from Dropbox to Google Drive to Microsoft SkyDrive. I have Microsoft Office installed on this laptop as well, and everything works smoothly. I have no problem with PC compatibility. I'm partial to Apple products and I certainly get frustrated when I have to use PCs at work. Although I primarily use this laptop for school and work, I've watched movies and TV shows on this laptop, and I've hooked it up to an HDTV. Everything works great. I have a 3 year AppleCare Warranty on this laptop, but I've never had to take it in for servicing. I use a lightweight snap on case on this so I can just toss it in my bag and go without worrying about scratching the aluminum.

This apple product is excellent. My old laptop that i had owned had to weigh at least six pounds, compared to this laptop that weighs like three and is ten times faster than my old one. I would recommend this laptop to anyone over any other laptop. The quality is also very clear compared to my old Toshiba.

Overall this product has been successful. I have found that over time it slows down a little bit and some of the keys stick for no reason, I have never spilt anything on my keyboard or anything like that. The screen on this product is very durable as I have dropped it a few times and hit the screen with something on accident and there has been absolutely no damage what so ever to the product overall. The battery life is pretty decent unless you are watching a movie or tv show streaming but that is the case with any laptop that I have found. My only issue with the design is that there is no disc insert spot, I realize that they took it out in order to make it lighter but I wish they had found a way to make it lighter and keep the disc drive in at the same time. In general this is a great product and I am very happy that I made the choice to buy this one instead of something else. Also, although it is very light weight be warned that if you are adding this to something like an already full back pack or brief case the extra weight of the laptop can feel way more significant than it is.

The MacBook Air is one of my personal favorite laptops. I've owned several MacBook Pro's, Windows based laptops and even an iPad so I couldn't imagine for the longest time I had a need for a MacBook Air. The iPad could take care of many tasks that I had on a daily basis and the other laptops at my disposable would likely serve my heavier computing needs. Imagine my surprise as I found the Air could handle most of my heavier business tasks and do so with a wonderful keyboard, light weight and crisp display. Ease of Use Powered by the always easy to use Apple OS X Mavericks I have found the machine's operating system a pleasure to use and allows me to perform the most basic and even advanced tasks with relative ease. Battery Life With a powerful battery that can go for 12 hours or even more I've never had a machine that is so light yet contained such a powerful battery. Speed/Performance This laptop can be fairly snappy but at times when running very intensive applications you may encounter some slow downs. Design Beautiful and perfect design that is a pleasure to pull out of your bag. Durability Doesn't feel cheaply built but dropping it will likely be quite devastating (as with most laptops). I never feel like it isn't sturdy even with my heavy typing and constant usage.

It makes doing my homework a lot easier. (Since I loose a lot of it) Ever since our school has given us MacBook Airs taking notes has been a lot easier for me since I also loose those as well. Its been easier for me to get in contact with my teachers and seeing how my grades are as well. Since I am taking great care of my laptop it isn't or hasn't broken unlike other people at my school. I bought my macbook air for school use last summer. I had always been against macbooks and only ever bought PCs. However, the lightweight, beautifully designed air caught my eyes and I knew I had to buy it. Now I know that I'll never go back to PCs again. The Macbook Air is simply perfect; the trackpad makes it so much easier to switch between windows, to zoom in and out, and to go back a page (or forward) on Safari and Google Chrome. The interface is simply great! Moreover, unlikely my PCs, I have yet to get a virus on my macbook. Overall, I feel so much safer using a macbook instead of a PC. The design too is so much better. And I absolutely love the magsafe adaptor and the backlit keyboard!

I love that when I carry my laptop with me, it does not add 20 pounds to my backpack. It can fit in my backpack along with all of my books. It is high-powered enough for me. I use it for school, to write papers, submit projects, make PowerPoints, and other homework-related tasks. I also use it for general internet browsing. It is high-speed and has plenty of storage for me. When I am done I can easily fold it up and store it anywhere. I like having a laptop that is very portable. The variety of apps is tremendous. I also like the attention to detail, such as having a magnetic power cord so if someone trips over it, it pulls the cord out instead of pulling your computer off the table. I have been fairly careful with it, but carry it in my backpack and use it all the time. I have not had any issues with it, and I enjoy using it. Ease of Use The Macbook Air is very easy to use. It is easy to carry, easy to download apps, and easy to surf the Internet. Battery Life The battery life is pretty good. If I charge it overnight, the charge will last all day, and possibly most of the next day. Support & Service I have not had any problems with the laptop to need support or service, but I know Apple's service is generally very good. Speed/Performance The speed of the laptop is very good. It loads pages quickly, opens apps quickly, and turns on quickly. Design The design is excellent. I would not have imagined that a laptop so thin could be so high-powered. I like having the bigger, 13 inch screen, but still having it weigh so little. Durability I have not been rough on the laptop, but I carry it with me almost every day. I have not had any problems with it and it does not even have a scratch on it.
