This an outstanding macbook

4

Prior to this mac, I had an iBook and I thought I had it all. That was until I bought my refurbished MacBook.  This laptop is more thinner, much, much lighter, and even though the screen is wider by about two inches, it feels a lot wider. Best of all, this can enable a storage up to 500 gigabytes, and the Processor is 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. It has a memory of 2 GB but can be maxed to 4 GB. Next to any version of iBook, this is off the grid and next to MacBook Pro, it can hold it's place well. It has everything I need in it, including terrific amount of  battery life, webcam, and most of all its operating System is Snow Leopard. Which means I don't have to get new a laptop if I wanted to buy the new OS of Lion. The addition of Space has made my life so much better. It's also very light, though not as light as Mac Air, but it has things Mac Air doesn't, so it's difficult to compare it exactly. Overall, worth the buy weather it be refurbished or brand new.

Very good decision made!

I decided to buy MAC-PRO 13 inch laptop after owning a Dell XP for 3 years and died just before Christmas.  I never regretted my decision after buying my MAC-PRO laptop.  It's an awesome laptop. It's very light, easy to navigate, fast and user friendly.  Virus free.  It is easy to make slide shows and it helps you organize your photos quickly.  Even someone who doesn't know that much computers can make slide show.  MAC even has this Iphoto Booth function, where you can take pictures of yourself and create background.  You can save what you have created and you can send it to someone or post it in your blog.  It's that cool! My husband even love it! At fist he wanted me to buy another PC. Now he is glad I bought the MAC instead.  He uses the MAC too, even though he has his own PC.  He was able to download Star-craft and has been playing in the MAC.  He also watches movies using my MAC.  The sound system is great!  Defintely I will recommend MAC to anyone ... Love this laptop!

The apple macbooks are average, I am not a fan of the white plastic look.  Their operating system is a bit unstable, it is necessary to force quit and force shutdown quite a bit.  They are very easy to use, and thus very user friendly.  I have been using mine for about six months and have been basically happy with it but I don't think they are as well built or designed as a good PC with windows 7.  I think Apple should get away from the idea of producing everything in white plastic as it is very cheap looking.  I also shows a lot of dirt and grime from skin oils etc, due to the white keys and trackpad.  It is lightweight, which I like, but it appears to look a lot like a toy computer.  I'm not sure if I would buy one again, perhaps if they come up with a new design that appears more professional.  If you are not very adept with computers, then I would use the apple macbook, but if you are quite proficient with computers then use the PC with windows operation system.

LOVE this laptop!

I am a Mac user, through and through. I "converted" several years ago when my husband convinced me we should buy an iMac and never looked back. We didn't even have a laptop in our home for a long time, but when we decided to get one we did not spend much time deliberating which brand to buy. We have not been disappointed with our purchase. We use this laptop daily around the house or other places when we're traveling. It has no trouble connecting to wireless networks and is really fast overall. It has all the programs from iLife that we have grown to love so we can use it for anything we would use our iMac for. I LOVE the track pad on this laptop. The multitouch technology that allows you to do different things based on how many fingers you use has become intuitive and I feel like I'm in the stone age if I use someone's computer that does not have that feature. We have also started hooking this up to our TV to watch online shows and the picture looks great!

Macs rock

5

For 12 years I was a PC, and I spouted my PC pride and my "down with macs" hatred. But a year ago, after 2 dead PC laptops that were riddled with viruses and a desktop also riddled with viruses and spyware, I finally decided to give in to the pricey Mac laptop. Did I regret it? Not at all, in fact, despite the heavy costs of my laptop, I was actually really happy with my laptop. It was sleek looking, the interface was super easy to use, the operating system was also very sleek and clean looking. I loved that the colors on the LCD screen were bright and vibrant and everything was always crisp looking. And the laptop almost never over heated--thank you aluminum! Best news yet, NO VIRUSES! NO SPAM! Halleujah! But there is a downside to the mac--the processor speed is pretty terrible. I find my laptop lagging in doing even the simplest of tasks sometimes like opening iTunes or sometimes even Firefox. So it goes without a question, this is not a game-friendly laptop.
