Appaloosa Horses —
I am a long-time owner of Appaloosa horses. My brother and I have shown them for many years - even at the world level. I would state that if someone is starting out and doesn't have a lot of money for a good barrel or race horse, but wants a performance horse that has the endurance and speed, go for a registered, Appaloosa horse. They will definitely give you the speed and endurance you need to succeed in performance, competitive barrel racing, poles, etc.
