Anthro 36" Anthrocart —

It isn't the prettiest desk you'll find, but this desk can be adjusted to the correct ergonomic position for almost anyone. After three straight years of computer programming by day and gaming at night, my wrists were well on the way to bilateral carpel tunnel syndrome. After two weeks off and a switch to the Anthrocart, the symptoms went away and have never returned. I don't know if it was dumb luck or the desk, but I credit the desk, which was able to get the keyboard and monitor to the right height.

There are two shelves that it comes with, and each can be adjusted to virtually any height in 1 inch increments. The basic desk is two shelves and the rollers it sits on (I got the 4 inch casters for easy rolling on carpet). I added the 24" height extensions (I am 6'7" and needed the monitor shelf higher), but tons of other specialty accessories are available including speaker mounts, computer racks, wire routing gizmos, keyboard trays, and shelves.

The desk is very easy to assemble and ships with all the tools you need. It can hold pretty much anything, including me.

In short, if you are long on functionality and not too concerned with appearances, this desk is a great buy.

Thank you for your review!... I'm Patricia with Anthro...(...in a standing position using an elevate.) One of the staple advantages of our technology furniture is the ergonomic design. Now is a great time to check us out as we are running weekly specials during our October Birthday!

Great find.

I'm tall as well and I use an desk from IKEA that has adjustable shelves. It works much better than the traditional hight furniture.

I think it is either the FREDRIK series or an older version of that (I've had it a while).

I wonder how the Anthrocart desks compare to the BioMorph desks. Any insights?
