Antec NoteBook Cooler #761345-75004-2 Review

I've been primarily using my laptop since we moved.  Setting up my office has been something that has been on the "to do" list for some time but just hasn't happened yet with all of the unplanned things that have popped up this year.  When my laptop started overheating I knew that I needed to order a cooling pad.  I searched online and read reviews and finally chose the Antec USB Powered Cooler.  It seemed to be the perfect product to meet my needs.

I chose the Antec USB Powered Cooler because it had both a high and low setting and also two fan motors.  I also liked the fact that it was quiet and did not need batteries.  It is powered through the USB port and uses very little power to run.

Another high selling point for me was the 3 year warranty.  Other brands only gave a one year warranty.  

If you are not familiar with a cooling pad, they are used to cool down your computer and reduce the chances of over heating and losing valuable information.  Over-heating can cause your motherboard to go out, as well as your hard drive.  It is much better to play it safe and protect your computer and your information stored on it.  A cooling pad keeps your computer at an even temperature to avoid over-heating.

I purchased my Antec USB Powered Cooler from Amazon.com.  It cost me around $27.99 if I remember correctly.  They are currently listed for $24.99, which is even better.

My Experience with the Antec USB Powered Cooler

I got my Antec USB Powered Cooler almost two yars ago.  I really think that it saved my computer from dying and me from crying.  My computer at the time I purchased the Antec Cooling Pad had started to over-heat and shut down.  Now it rarely does this and if it does, it is sometimes due to the fact that the cord is not plugged in to the USB drive.  Duh!
