I just finished reading this book, Angels and Demons for the second time. The movie is due to come out on May 15 and I wanted to refresh my memory before I went to see it. I also read The Da Vinci Code which was a great book, but Angels and Demons is my favorite of the two. If you liked the movie National Treasure, you'll love this book. Robert Langdon has become one of the best characters and Dan Brown is now on my reading list. He did some incredible research to write this book including meeting with the Pope, I believe, in Italy for references and information. Rome is on the top of places in the world that I would like to visit and this book makes me feel like I'm right in the middle of the Vatican City. As an artist myself, I find the Illuminati symbols in this book incredible. It is my understanding that a good friend of Dan Brown's actually designed these for him. Also, all the architectural and artistic references in this book are factual which adds to the suspense and contributes to the reality the book envokes to its readers.
