We purchased this baby monitor setup the day our son came home from the hospital. We had intended on using a basic monitor but our son was born early and had breathing problems in which he had to be in neo-natal icu for 4 days. This monitor is awesome! It allowed us the peace of mind to actually get some rest while our baby slept. Having the breathing monitor and the video monitor together made us rest easy knowing we could see our little one and know he was breathing properly. He is now 18 months old and we still use the video portion of the monitor to see what he's up to when we hear him playing when he wakes up. I would definetely suggest this product to anyone.
