Angel Soft Toilet Tissue DBL Rolls —

Bottom-Line: If you want soft, durable toilet paper, look elsewhere Angel Soft Toilet Paper isn't it, but that is just my considered opinion.

Like I stated in my review of Quilted Northern Soft & Strong Toilet Paper toilet paper is not the most interesting or appealing of subject matters, but it is a product we all have to avail ourselves of, no matter the brand.  It seems like I have tried all of the major brands of toilet paper; Scott Brand Toilet Paper is by far the worse, and the hardest on the bottom, and Angel Soft-despite the name-is second runner up.

Because I had a coupon (with a coupon all things are possible) I gave Angel Soft Double Roll Toilet Paper 12-pack a try.  On the outside, package wrapping, it's all good.  The toilet paper passed the squeeze test, and it thought I had a winner on my hands.  And the price was right: normally $7.49, the package bottomed out at $6.00 after coupon.

The double rolls are big, but believe it not course to the touch.  Not as tough and rough as Scott Paper Towels, Angel Soft Paper Towels are not as soft or as durable as Quilted Northern or Cottonelle double rolls.  And the individual sheets are hard to get off the roll; the separate ply's separated continuously, and then fell apart!  Now if it had been just one roll; no complaints, but the entire package?  And did I mention that Angel Soft Toilet Paper is not all that soft?

If you want soft, durable toilet paper, look elsewhere Angel Soft Toilet Paper isn't it, but that is just my considered opinion.

Thank s for the 411, I have used Charmin in the past and might want to give it another feel! :-)

I hate this stuff too. I've actually searched high and low for YEARS to find the perfect t.p. (as I like to affectionately call it). I have finally found something that gets my approval. Charmin makes an Ultra Strong toilet paper that is amazing (they have ultra soft too). It is the most expensive stuff out there, but you can find sales and P&G usually has coupons in the Sunday paper. Totally worth it in my book.

I use Angel Soft in the guest bath. It's not that expensive and the guest bath doesn't get used that often. Now for my bathroom...that's a whole different story ;+) Review coming!!
