My go-to carrier

5

I have a very active baby and early walker, but even she loves riding in this carrier. We used a Moby when she was a newborn, but it became uncomfortable as she got heavier.  I already owned an Olives and Applesaauce carrier for hiking but it dug into my shoulders and wasn't comfortable for out and about.  Someone suggested this carrier and I'm in love.  I can do a front carry and a back carry.  Baby loves being close to me, and I love being close to her.  I can get her in and out by myself in under 30 seconds.  It is fully adjustable so we've even been able to continue using it now that we both have to wear coats.  We use it at the store, hiking, on vacation, at the family reunion (to keep people at bay), on family outings...even my husband loves to wear the baby in this and he's 6'2! This carrier has made me a babywearing fanatic and was worth every penny.  I will truly be devastated when my daughter no longer wants to be worn!

Liked it, but didn't use it as much as I thought I would

I purchased the Angel Pack baby carrier to take on a trip for my 3 month old daughter in which we were planning on doing a lot of walking.  I used it exclusively for several days and was very happy with it.  I did get a little sore and tired, but I also wore it for several hours a day.  It was very easy to carry her in this and also very comfortable.  I thought I would end up using it all the time after that, but I really didn't.  My main problem with it is that it takes awhile to put it on and can be a hassle if you are by yourself, because the straps are very long and it can be hard to get them to lay straight on your back.  It was not very convenient to use it just for a trip to the store because I felt like it wasn't worth the hassle.  However, If I planned on using it for a more extended period of time, I loved it.  One other thing is that the main fabric body of the sling seemed to be too wide, requiring the baby's legs to be wrapped around my midsection rather than having the option of hanging down a little more comfortably. I think that if the fabric had been a little slimmer it would be more comfortable for the baby.

Love this baby carrier

I bought my Angel Pack carrier when my daughter was just a few weeks old. The first time I put her in it to try it out around the house, my daughter (who never wanted to nap) feel asleep in it within ten minutes. The carrier was easy to put on and fully adjustable. The baby was comfortable placed up against my chest and facing me, the preferred direction for calming a baby. This carrier is ergonomically designed to prevent the baby from "dangling" and allows the legs to spread wide as if the baby is sitting or resting on your hip. The carrier also has a waist buckle for you and adjustable shoulder straps so that it is also ergonomically sound for you and does not place any strain on your shoulders. My original Angel Pack did not come with a chest strap so I criss-crossed the shoulder straps in the back for a comfortable carry. As the baby got bigger, I invested in a newer model with a chest strap to give extra support and comfort to me. I still carry my baby (often on my pack) with this carrier at 18 months and 27 pounds and she still loves it!
