I used to work as a dog groomer and used Andis clippers for my job. When I found out that Andis also produces flat irons, I was surprised and pleased. This is the single best flat iron I have ever used. It leaves my hair silky straight and the steam release vents make it great for use when I'm in a hurry and my hair isn't quite dry enough. Effectiveness This iron straightens spectacularly well. It leaves my hair feeling very straight and silky. Durability Just like my clippers, my flat iron has held up so well over the years. I will definitely buy Andis again when the time comes.

the andis mytalic series is small but its lasted alot longer than other straightner that where more expensive that ive purchesed in the past.you can use this product from wet to dry hair.all hair types.it heats up pretty fast., it goes from 5 to 20 heating options.me and my 2 daughters use this staightner for 4 years already and its still working rather well..bought it from walmart for a small price .which was pretty affordable.the only thing i whis it had was auto shut off!! like i said ive paid for a staightner on t.v. which was supossed to be high quality but it only lasted for about 3 months and was already having glitches...so over all its a great purches for little money.

I purchased the 1-Inch Nano-Silver Tourmaline Wet or Dry Ceramic Flat Iron to help achieve a sleek straight style with as little time as possible. This little gadget is amazing and I wish I had purchased it months ago! I have lots of hair ranging from very fine on the top layer to coarse and wavy on the bottom layer. Achieving a sleek finished look up until now has been impossible. With this flat iron I am able to dry my hair with the blow dryer and leave it slightly damp, only to finish it off with a few run throughs of the flat iron. It takes minimal time, which I appreciate as I am so not a morning person, and the results are AMAZING! My friends all noticed the difference immediately and my hair stylist commented at my most recent appointment that my hair was so much softer than usual. I travel extensively for work, so I also appreciate how lightweight this flat iron is. I cannot recommend this item highly enough!!!

I purchased this Andis 1-inch Nano-Silver Tourmaline wet or dry ceramic flat iron because it was cheap and I need something to use for a couple weeks while my CHI was being fixed. This flat iron straightened my hair really well and I like that it has heat adjustments. The highest heat setting is really hot and works well. My CHI is fixed now but I still use my Andis instead! And if the Andis breaks, oh well its not much money at all to buy a new one! It never pulls on my hair because the plates go to the very edge of the flat iron. Oh and it is very light weight. This flat iron claims it can be used on damp hair to dry it. I have only tried using it when my hair was damp once and it didn't make it 100% dry after and it created tons of hot steam so I don't recommend using it until you have blow-dried hair completely. I would rather blow-dry my hair before using any straightener anyways because then it is more manageable. It can also be locked closed which really comes in handy when traveling.
