The Andis multi heat ceramic straightening iron is the best. It heats up very quickly and you can adjust the heat to which you want it. It was a great price (only $14.99 at Wal-Mart) and I have gotten a great life out of it. I purchased it about 2 years ago and it is still working as well as the day I bought it. I purchased one for my stepsister as well. She has thicker, wavy hair and could not find a straightening iron that worked well with her hair type. After using this product, she has told me that it works great. I have also seen the results first hand, and it gave her a smooth, sleek look to her normally wavy thick hair. This is a smaller iron too, similar to the size of the Chi, so it works well for maneuvering with different lengths of hair. I have also noticed that they carry this product in red too, in case black straightening irons do not fit your style. If you are looking for a low-cost quality straightening iron this is the one for you.
