economic and works well

Comments about Andis 1" Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron CSI-1E:

The andis flat iron works better than i expected. I purchased it at walmart for only 15 bucks and heats up rather quickly. This is probably one of the best hair straightner i've purchased with such reasonable price. The only reaon why i didn't give it a five star rating is because it leaves your hair looking a little dry and staticky. Another negative factor is that the paint from the plates is melting off after only using it for 3 months. The good think is that it comes with a five year warranty. It straightens my hair extremely well and pretty quick.

Great for the price

Comments about Andis 1" Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron CSI-1E:

I originally bought this straightener for the price. I needed something that would straighten by naturally wavy hair, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I LOVE it. It heats quickly and automatically shuts off if I forget and don't use it for awhile. I am a busy mom of four and ocassionally get side-tracked during my morning routine. I love that I don't have to worry if I end up not using it for a bit. I also like the number settings on the side so that I can control the heat more than just HI MED or LOW. I think it is easy to use, does what it is supposed to do to and doesn't seem to "burn" my hair. I also appreiciate the fact that it doesn't give that burnt hair smell that some hot irons do when they heat up. The fact that the plates don't come all the way to the side of the iron as some do is a wonderful safety factor as far as preventing burns, on my person or my bathroom counter.

Best flat iron-quality and price!

Comments about Andis 1" Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron CSI-1E:

I use a flat iron daily, so I am usually careful and quite picky with what flat iron I choose to buy. Because I am often in a hurry in the mornings when getting ready I always try to buy flat irons with the auto off feature. The Andis flat iron has this feature...which I'm sure has saved my house from burning down several times! Andis makes flat irons with different size plates, depending on how much hair is being flat ironed. Because of my long hair, I bought the flat iron with 1 inch plates. I found that the plates heated evenly and ironed my hair perfectly. I'm not sure what the normal life span of a flat iron is, but my Andis one lasted three years, being used at least once and sometimes twice daily. Toward the end the plates weren't quite touching evenly as when I first bought it, but it still heated evenly and worked if I forced the plates together. Another fabulous feature is the quick heat up. Within less than a minute, the flat iron reaches the desired heat and is ready to use! Highly recommended!

Comments about Andis 1" Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron CSI-1E:

I bought this Andis Flat Iron after reading some recommendations online.  I have been loving it - I didn't want to spend the money on other costly flat irons.  I've used the expensive ones and I find this one to work just as well at a fraction of the cost.  I am so happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

The Andis 1" Ceremic Iron is an okay flat iron for the money.

Comments about Andis 1" Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron CSI-1E:

The Andis 1" Ceremic Flat Iron is an alright flat iron.  It's heat settings are from 1 to 20 not by actually degree which I did not like.  It also found that it did not get as hot as the product descripion said it should. I also has alot of trouble with it pulling my hair.  But it was priced for the quality that you received so that is the only plus I can give this product.

The Andis ceremic iron is a wonderful tool for all hair types.

Comments about Andis 1" Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron CSI-1E:

I like the Andis ceremic iron for multiple reasons. You get a wonderful product at a low price. I have natural curly hair that tends to frizz up. I can sraighten my hair and curl it using this tool in about an hour. The frizz leaves and I look like I just left the salon. With the ceremic iron i can curl under, flip the hair, and even make spiral curls. My little cousin loves that, she has long wavey hair.

My sister in law is asian and has this beautiful thick black hair. She had gotten a cut and the stylis didn't do a good job. She came to me complaining that she couldn't get her hair to do anything. I gave her an Andis 1" Ceremic Iron. She called me the next day and raved on how great it was and how she wishes she had one sooner.

I am so happy that there is a cost contious tool out there that you can use for any hair type as there are many hair types in my family, and you can do so many things with this.

1- straighten

2- curl

3- flip

4-sprial curl

5- reduces frizz

What more can you ask for with just one thing?

Smooth and Silky

Comments about Andis 1" Ceramic Clamp Flat Iron CSI-1E:

I am a former hair stylist and make up artist, and I used to do a lot of weddings, photo shoots, model portfolio shoots, pageants, etc... When my daughter announced that she was getting married, everyone just assumed that I would be doing the hair and makeup.

I lost my old flat iron, in a move. I looked eveywhere and at the last minute we purchased this item to use for my daughters' wedding party. My daughter previously owned a Chi which she loved, but it didn't live very long. I used to own top of the line everything, because I wanted the best results possible. I based my business on being able to provide quality service and results.

We bought this one at a beauty supply store and were a little skeptical because it was moderately priced and sometimes you do get what you pay for.

To our surprise, it worked great, on everyone's hair. We had every type of hair to do that day including hair extensions. The flat iron stayed hot, and was easy to clean. Giving everyone the smooth and sleek styles that they were looking for.

The wedding was at a park., it was an extremely breezy day. We didn't put any hairspray in anyone's hair, and the hair held up just fine. We have the most beautiful pictures and we are very grateful taht we choose the Andis flat iron.
