Andiamo Bravo Backpack Tote, Black —

I discovered a new discount shopping site called UWantSavings.com.  I signed up for email notifications and entered a raffle for the week's giveaway.  Imagine my surprise when I got an email saying that I had won!  The item was a laptop carrier:  Andiamo Bravo Backpack Tote, Black.

My laptop has a 17 inch screen and is hard to find a carrier for it and so I asked one of my sons if he could use it.  He has about a one and one half hour commute each day into DC.  He said he needed one so I contacted UWantSavings.com and asked them if they could send it directly to my son.  "No problem!" I was told.  I offered to pay any difference in postage but was told, "Don't worry about it.  This one is on us." They sent me the tracking number and I waited to find out how nice it was.

The website stated that the retail price of the backpack is $285.  It is currently on sale on this site for $75.  The description on the site is:

"The Backpack Tote from Andiamo is ideal for those who travel to work or class with a 'go green' attitude. This versatile and sturdy bag slings over the shoulders for bike riders and walkers, then transforms into a handheld briefcase, with straps hidden in the back, for classier work functions. A unique, comfortable piece that keeps your laptop safe and your accessories organized.

Compare to: Irv's Luggage for $181.00

Product Description:

* Great backpack tote for work and school alike
* Can be carried backpack style on shoulders or by hand with two looped handles
* Padded straps can be hidden in rear face pocket
* Three zippered front compartments and the largest can be locked
* Fully lined interior with removable computer sleeve
* Main backpack compartment has a built in spot to hold laptops up to 16.0-Inches
* Includes two separate sections for files
* Eight separate pockets in front compartment for pens, phones, and more!
* Dimensions: 16" x 14" x 6"
* Capacity: 1277 Cubic Inches
* Model Number: BR191BLK"

I waited to see what my son said about it.  He can be critical at times so I felt his opinion would be a fair one.  He emailed and said, "It is a very functional bag - it is fairly comfortable as a backpack, it is well designed for both a laptop and your 8x11 papers and folders, it appears to be made of a durable material and has some nice supple leather trim. The picture on the website doesn't do it justice."  Enough said.

Bottomline:

I will be shopping at UWantSavings.com in the future.  Their customer service and quality of product won me over...

Did I mention that shipping is free all the time?  It is.

We totally should. I want to go back and see what else they have for me to buy that I don't need, lol.

I got the set TODAY! So fast! It's adorable. A 1600 watt hair dryer is fine. I usually use 1875 but for a vacay, it's perfect and little. I love that site!

I have a little fold up travel size hair dryer. It doesn't take up space and gets the job done in a pinch. I wouldn't want to use it everyday though- no power.

I signed up for notices. I bought the cutest travel hair dryer, mirror, trimmer, comb, blah blah in a case for $17.00. I will just toss that in my suitcase and never worry again if the motel or hotel has a hair dryer and if I remembered my mirror. Love it.

I wish I could find something similar;at for my widescreen 17" laptop. I have searched around to no avail. Hey, cool that you won!
