I am very disappointed in the Andersen 400 Series double hung I just had installed. The interior woodworking is shoddy. The seams are poorly fit and gaps are visible. My house is almost 50 year old. I am replacing the original double hung Andersen windows because the glass is cloudy and the windows leaky. The interior workmanship however is far superior to the ones just installed. There are no visible gaps between the woodwork seams. The windows just installed are not even up the the quality of the Anderson patio slider, French doors and casement window I had installed over the past 20 years. I would suggest looking closely at other brands. i.e. Pella, Marvin before purchasing Andersen. I'm sorry I chose the Andersen's.
