Amy's Rice Macaroni and Cheese Reviews

I was a little confused by Amy's having two different versions of what essentially seems to be the same dish.  Reading the package carefully clears all that up.  Amy's Rice Mac & Cheese made with Organic Rice Pasta is "gluten-free" which means that even people who are allergic to wheat (an ingredient of most types of pasta) and never thought they could enjoy Macaroni & Cheese at all now can pop this delightful entree in the microwave and enjoy.  It is as delicious as the original Amy's Organic Macaroni & Cheese with chewy al dente elbow pasta smothered in rich cheddar sauce.

Amy's Rice Macaroni and Cheese is easily the best microwavable Mac N Cheese I've ever had. It's got a wonderful creamy texture, and you'd never know it's gluten-free. In fact, after tasting it for the first time, I went back and looked at the box to make sure I didn't make a mistake! It cooks in just a few minutes, and it's soooo good! Unfortunately, it's a bit on the expensive side, and it's not always easy to find. If more stores would carry it, and the price went down by about a dollar, it would be the perfect meal!

My son and I enjoy Mac and Cheese for lunch. We do not have celiac disease (zero wheat tolerance) but I try to minimize the amount of wheat we do eat. Amy's rice Mac and Cheese is the best tasting, and most convenient wheat-free macaroni and cheese products. It is very cheesy, unlike Deboles where I often need to add extra cheese to the product, and the pasta has a good texture. So often rice pasta and flours have a grainy consistency that I do not care for. This product tastes like "regular" mac and cheese, as opposed to a wheat-alternative mock mac and cheese. Amy's Rice Macaroni and Cheese is the best macaroni and cheese I have had that is gluten free. The macaroni is soft and tastes good and has a delicious thick creamy cheese sauce. It takes 4 minutes in the microwave and is a little bit better if you want a couple minutes for it to cool before eating. It's priced within the normal range of gluten free food. Excellent comfort food fix for those of us forced to live Gluten free.
