The Marriott Amsterdam located in Leidseplein is a very nice hotel. Located in a excellent area for shopping, restaurants and gift shoppes. I would recommend you plan your transit from the Airport as its a 20+ minute walk from Centraal Station. The staff was very helpful, and answered all of our questions as well as making the best recommendations for getting around the area. Be prepared to use the public transportation systems, trams, buses, the train (subway). I personally would stay away from taxis except in cases where you had lots of luggage and then only to and from the airport. … read full review »
