Blink Gel Tears provide serious relief for dry eyes.

By

from South Bend, IN

Comments about Amo Blink Gel Tears Lubricating Eye Drops:

A few years ago, I began having problems with dry eyes, and my ophthalmologist recommended Systane eye drops. I used the sample he gave me, but when it came time to buy my own bottle I balked at the price. When Blink Gel Tears went on sale, I picked up a bottle to try it. The gel formulation is a little weird at first--you can definitely tell it's thicker than regular eye drops--but the relief is just as long-lasting as the Systane. The price is much better, too, and they seem to go on sale more often than any other brand.

I wear contacts, but I can't wear them as long as I used to. My ophthalmologist also recommended that when I put my contacts in, I put a drop of these Gel Tears into each contact before putting them in, and that has allowed me to wear my contacts much more often.

Incredibly lubricating eye drops

By

from Melrose, MA

Comments about Amo Blink Gel Tears Lubricating Eye Drops:

I'm not someone who uses eye drops on a regular basis, but one day in particular I was having major dry eye problems. I couldn't even put my contacts into my eyes, they were so dry and irritated. I tried Blink's gel tears eye drops, and Viola! I could not even believe what a difference it made. I went from not being able to wear my contacts at all to being able to have them in all day. The gel formula is thicker than most and really lubricates your eye when you need it most. I also liked that the thick formula didn't seem as runny as most eye drops do - the Blink gel tears stayed mostly in my eyes instead of running down my face. As the other reviewer mentioned, it does take a minute or two for the eye drops to settle - but after a couple of blinks (no pun intended!) my eyes were back to normal and I didn't have any of the irritation from before. The bottle may seem small, but it seems to last a while; I used it consistently for three days straight, adding drops every couple of hours when my eyes got irritated and I still have more left in the bottle. Definitely a good value for the money, and absolutely a brand I would buy again.

Blink Gel Tears bring pleasant relief.

By

from Wheaton, IL

Comments about Amo Blink Gel Tears Lubricating Eye Drops:

Blink Gel Tears are lubricating eye drops for moderate to severe dry eye. They're considerably thicker than the more liquid eye drops. I have chronic dry eye, so my eyes often feel like there's just not enough tears to feel comfortable. It feels so good to use a soothing product and have enough moisture in my eyes. This Blink product is quite thick with a gel consistency, and when you first put it in your eye it takes a little while for the product to spread around your eye so you can see. This is true of all the thicker products, but it's a strange feeling at first.  I would say this product works as well as other products in the category.

I have some concern that this product is made in China. In fact, I hadn't noticed that until I sat down to review the product. The package states that it is "made in China in accordance with US FDA guidelines." In view of some of the severe problems that we've learned about with other products made in China, this does give me cause for concern.
