You get what you pay for. For someone on a budget, this older hotel is simple, but adequate. Would be perfect for a spring breaker. I did request a non-smoking room, and I got it. The staff that I actually interacted with were nice and professional. The room, like I said, was adequate. A wonderful view of the beach, and a gorgeous sunset!. The picture on the television was jumpy. When I first walked into the room, there was a somewhat unpleasant, unidentifiable smell, but it went away as soon as I turned the A/C on, so I think it was just due to the unit not being on. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was fairly large. Loved having own kitchen area and being right on beach. The only problems I encountered were, on the first day when the cleaning staff had cleaned our room they had not closed our door all the way, so when we arrived back from being gone all day the door was wide open, luckily nothing was stolen or messed with. The other thing is the parking there is not enough room for parking!! They share the parking lot with the restaurant next door and you always had a hard time finding somewhere to park. My wife an I enjoyed our stay at the Best Value Inn. It's an older motel, but is kept in very good condition. All of the rooms have a balcony on the beach, and the large pool is really nice. When we're on vacation, we don't spend much time in the room, so missing out on things like an in-room bar or hot tub, don't really bother us. What matters to us is spending time on the beach and easy access to area restrauants. Beach access couldn't get any easier and there are plenty of good eats close by. When we got there the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is an old hotel but the view was AWESOME!!! We could walk on the beach whenever we wanted. We could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. It is right on the ocean. I recommend this to anyone. I had a good time. The staff was fantastic and the rooms, while an older hotel, were very clean and comfortable. It seemed that everyone at this hotel except for the few families there were trying to drink themselves into oblivion. It was like a college frat party. It also seemed like many local construction workers were licated at this property, and they were tring to outdrink the other parties. The Best Value Inn in Panama City Beach is in a great location for lots of family fun and casual dining. The hotel offerred a great continental breakfast.
