Recently, on a trip to the New York metro area, my wife and I wanted to plan a day in the city that the whole family would enjoy. — Often when I'm in New York alone I'll call one of my older daughters and we'll spend the day touring the Metropolitan Museum of Art. If you haven't already read Jo's review on this museum, go do so...I agree wholeheartedly with just about everything she said about the American Museum of Natural History, though I'm just totally gung-ho about the place. — — I can't emphasize enough that you really need to allow some serious time to explore this wonderful museum. It is a HUGE place that a curious kid could easily totally immerse themselves in for at least a couple days. love to travel, love nature
The American Museum of Natural History was our last destinations during our stay in New York City recently. Most will think this is a must see Museum. I agree however my husband loved the Museum; I liked it. If you have children it is certainly a must do. — The museum is too large to see in a day. You might want to plan out what you want to see before you go. There are special exhibits which will cost you extra. — The Museum is located at 79th Street and Central Park West.
