Pros

    nice special effects, highly entertaining, great talents debut here, Can be funny, Platform for unknown talent

    too much arguing between judges, everyone can not win

American Idol to me is the best platform for unknown talent to show what they can do. Even though the judges get on my nerves at times, it still is one of the most entertaining Talent Show on television.

I like the fact that they have guest musicians as the mentors for the new talent. It is just another way you get entertained. I also like the way they have different Musical Genre Week. I think this helps the new talent to stretch their wings!

As far as the judges go, I really like Randy, I like Paula, and I even like Simon, except when he is so mean to people. I do NOT however like the new Kara. There is just something about her. I think she leans toward the vain side. I guess she kinda reminds me of what Simon would be as a female!

Overall this show has tuned out some really awesome talent over the years. And Ryan Seacrest isn't hard to look at either! Lol!

Oh and the most important thing........GO ADAM LAMBERT!! YOU ARE THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL!!!!

Hey Bob......yes I felt the same too until I took a friends advice and watch it a few more times. I was hooked after about 3 episodes! The key things you have to remember is this. When you see the show flip flopping back and forth, it is showing something relevant that happened in that characters life in the past that has formed them into the person they are on the Island. Also, the Island can change positions, (that's why it is uncharted) it can change time, and it can create senerios we could only dream of or in some cases have nightmares about! I am NOT a big Sci-Fi fan, but absolutely love this one! ....Hey also you can go to a wonderful website called Hulu, there you can watch the series Lost from the Pilot episode and maybe understand the show more and grow to love it! here is the URL to it....Enjoy!!
