American Heritage Fireplace installs "gas logs"  that sit in a traditional fireplace, look like wood, but are lit by gas.  I will have to say I am a purist when it comes to fires.  I love the smell of wood and the sound of crackling.  There is nothing better to me than sitting near a warm fire on a cold winter day.  However, our four year old has asthma and we have been advised that burning wood in the house could irritate his condition.  For that reason, I finally broke down and had American Heritage Fireplace install some fake logs.  We ordered the logset called Rocky Mountain Prehistoric...
