American Girl Kit Kittredge Review

When I was a girl, I pined away for an American Girl doll.  Now my daughter is old enough to enjoy them, and she loves Kit Kittredge.  I love that the American Girl dolls teach values and character traits, and in Kit's case, she lived during the Depression, and so had to make do with what she had, improvise, and find happiness in her family's circumstances  These are such good lessons to learn for today!  The doll comes with a book that introduces her and her story and how she managed to stay happy despite her father losing his job.  The doll itself is very high quality, and the clothes she comes in are darling.  If the doll is ever damaged, she can be sent to the Doll Hospital where they can fix marks on the face and body.  The body of the doll is soft enough to cuddle, and the size of the doll, 18" is the same size as many other dolls out there, and so she can fit into many other doll clothes and use other doll accessories if you didn't want to purchase the ones in the American Girl Catalog.
