will last forever if you take care of it, very well put together, takes a lot of rough play, handes tough love from little ones well, matching child clothes available, lots of accessories available

I bought this doll for this daughter when she was 2. She is now 7 and still plays with her. My best friend's daughter is 11 and still adores her Bitty Baby and they play with their dolls together. American Girl offers a Bitty Baby hospital service if your baby is "injured." I also bought the matching outfits when my daughter was younger for some priceless photo's. These are memories I'll have forever. My daughter loves to hold her baby and show her the pictures of her and her baby in matching outfits.
