American Gangster —
I saw "American Gangster" at the recommendation of several friends. I like movies that are about true life stories (such as Catch Me If You Can). The story was based on an interesting premise and that part of it was enjoyable. However, I didn't care for the numerous shots of naked women making drugs. It seemed like that was added to give it more interest for the guys in the audience. I don't mind nudity but it was so often and kind of gross. Also, I didn't enjoy watching people shoot drugs with needles. Once or twice would've been fine but when I can see every pore of the user's skin, it's too close. I would've gotten the idea of what was happening with a more subtle scene. I enjoyed the ending the most. I wanted to hear what happened after the trial and that was provided at the end of the film.
