American Gangster —
I wasn't at all interested in seeing this movie, but went because my husband wanted to see it. I came away pleasantly surprised. I thought this was one of Denzel Washington's best films, and enjoyed Russell Crowe's performance as well. The beginning was a little hard to get into, as the characters weren't yet completely and clearly formed - but once you get into the film, it's really good.
