American gangster is one of the best movies I've seen in the last year. I'm not really a big fan of gangster movies but this movie took me by surprise. So much that I might get into watching more gangster movies. The whole star cast of the movie just looks like they were born for this role. Denzel Washington plays the role of the gangster such an excellent fashion that I don't think anybody could have done a better job playing this role. Russell Crowe is nothing less than excellent either. I would not comment anything on the story line because you should watch it in a theatre. This is a brilliant movie.
