I used to work for a retail company and we didn't except the American Express credit cards, due to the fact that the company itself charges to much to have to be used in some stores. I also found out that there is a handful of food places that doesn't except the card either and this is in San Diego....

The American Express (green) cash back card is an average credit card. The plus is that it usually allows for a high credit limit. The negative is that the rewards are average or below.
The high credit limit is nice, especailly in today's credit envionement. It will help your overall fico score.
The negative is that the rewards are pretty much meaningless. The cash back is either .05 percent or one percent, depending on the category of your purchase. So, if you spend ten thoudand dollards, you will pretty much end up with five to ten dollard being subtracted from your end of year...

The American Express card is like an elite member of the credit card class. It is an excellent credit card if you qualify, and can be the most usefull of all the cards, however, be very carefull with this card. It is very easy to go over your head. Most, if not all of them, well at least the one I had, had absolutely no credit limit, which is a great tool to have and it is always nice to have a seemingly endless supply of money readily available. The only problem could be, is the entire bill is expected to be paid off every month. Like I've already said, if you can afford it, this is a phenominal...

American express is the best credit card because when i came first to USA, I applied american express and he approved and gave me my first credit card, I suggested to my friends just like me and all of them had the same experience.
We have lot many variety cards, now i have 4 credit cards and all have some kind of cash backs.
This is best credit card for the new credit customers. we get 15 months 0 percent APR for whenever you take a new credit card.
