American Express is not accepted everywhere

American Express - Rewards Plus Gold —
Had to purchase bunk beds for my sons who were outgrowing their bedroom. Went to the furniture store, picked them out, had them brought to the loading dock to load into my truck only to find out that the store did not accept American Express. This all took about an hour. Ended up having to put them on an installment plan because we really needed them and the store had worked hard to get us what we really wanted. Very EMBARRASSING!!!! People were waiting in line behind us and we basically had to start the process over. Ended up being there over 2 hours!!
