My American Express Blue card has been one of my favorites for years now. While I will admit that part of its initial allure was the blue hologram square on the front (I mean, really, how cool does this card look?), its beauty is much more than skin deep.
First of all, this is a fixed rate card, which has been almost unheard of in my experience with credit cards. The rate has also stayed the same over the last five years, when I can assure you that the same has not been true for most other credit cards - even for customers who always pay on time and have excellent credit! Great card. Nothing beats cash back. Customer service is excellant. Online features of the card also include "dispute" which the company normally votes in favor of the consumer. Plus, this card is linked to Costco so you don't have to carry or show the Costco membership card.

The Blue from American Express is a great card for those that want to pay over time and it does not have annual fee so that makes it easy to keep and have. It is a card that you can get mileage for free and they do not expire and it has online protection.

I got my Blue American Express Card many years ago because I thought it looked cool. Little did I know it was much more than a neat little clear card. I get great rewards from my normal everyday spending. By the end of the year I have enough points to cash in and get several $100 gift cards. You can cash in and get other things too but my favorite is the gift cards. Each 10,000 points equals $100 gift card. Every dollar you spent it a point. There are promotions run often like triple points for your top three categories. You can get bonus points for shopping on certain sites. ...
