When BZZ agent had first offered this campaign to me, I had strongly considered not joining. We had been very disatisifed with American Express in the past and I had been really working hard to astructure the business to get away from using Amex and going to strictly either Mastercard or Visa.
HOWEVER the deceptive/confusing marketing tools made me reconsider applying for the card. I regretted it immediatly and every day after that. I finally got to the pointnwhere the card was almost down to a zero balance and we accidentally used it for one of our suppliers. I got a phone Call from the Plum people asking for a payment PRIOR to the statements stated due date!
I can not wait to rid the company of this card and be done with American Express all together. They charge outrageous fees and their entire business program is based on superiority! Well in this economy that just isnt what consumers are concerned about American Express!
The terminology on the cards marketing was borderline deceptive and used a lot of excess verbage to cause confusion. I have many credit cards we use with this business and none of them are as confusing. Then the card itself really offers zero benefits. I still can't figure out what led me to be convinced to opent he account int the first place!
