American Apparel —

When you live in a household dominated by females you get used to seeing at least one new shopping bag a day containing more clothing.  Usually it's more of the basics.  New sweats, tanks, tees, hoodies, etc.

You name the color and the style and chances are it's found its way into this home.  When it's not an issue of designer label, our brand of choice has been American Apparel.

Located in Los Angeles, they are one of the few remaining clothing manufacturers that produce their wares here in the U.S.

About a year ago we discovered their web-site and their on-line store (www.americanapparel.net).

There you can go through their entire catalog, assemble an order and have it shipped the same day.

Enormous Selection

The lovely Veronica and our daughter Jenna seem to have fallen in love with American Apparel.  They love the ability to select from a broad range of basics, be confident in the fit, and have an almost limitless color palette to choose from.

The senior Xeno sister who has recently had a daughter has discovered that you can't have too many "onesies".  Yes, I do remember those days so well!

Navigation

The site is very well organized and easy to navigate.  Check-out is fast and secure.  The catalog has been tailored specifically for the Internet so photos can be enlarged for better viewing and screen to screen time is quick.

Shipping

Orders over $50 are shipped free via UPS.  Standard UPS Ground usually takes 5 businee days from L.A. to Boca Raton.  Express shipping is available for a significant extra charge.

My Viewpoint

If made in America means much to you this is a company and a site that is worth your time.  The Xenos recommend it highly.

Regards,

Rudi

I still think you do not wear these (-: Some guys might. My boys voted - NOT. We all think Rudi just buys these for girl peeps. But if a guy likes them "on," then that's a great selling point. This is on our girl cousin "to buy" list and cross fingers and hope on target. You really ought to see us on the girl toy isle. I'll say, "Do ya'll think this is cool?" The boys say, "Uhm. Yeah." I can tell they don't have a clue.

LoL, you have to look closely at the collage to see that every once in awhile there's a guy person wearing sweats or a jacket. But yeah, I'm surrounded by females here.

I saw the photo collage first, and I thought, "This does not look like what Rudi wears." Oh, I see. You live in girl-ville. I am in boy-ville. Interesting look at the world huh? I am still trying to figure out why boy people surf TV during commercials. I just go to the bathroom or get something to eat. They try to see everything they might be missing on other channels.
