American Airlines is overpriced, they don't serve any snacks, they don't preboard for individuals with young children, not all of their flights have entertainment...even on long flights.  They are also a hassle to work with if you need to change your flight.  They tried to charge an extra $800.00 to change just a one-way flight for a family medical emergency.

The only good thing I really have to say is they had one employee who stayed on the phone with us for a long time to try and help.  The pilots also let my little boy look inside the cockpit.

Considering how bad things got since de-regulation took effect in 1977, I wonder what service on AA was like in the good old days of air travel. And yes, it was nice of the pilots to let your son into the cockpit!
