My friends n I have completely an HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA almost 10 yrs ago then we completed Register Nursing Degree now we are NURSES so I really don't know what these hey Sayers speaking of when they say AMERICAN ACADEMY is not accredited.

My daughter attended this school in 2010, she received a diploma that was not recognized by the state of South Carolina. I found this out today, she worked for a Daycare facility, and the dept of social services said that this diploma is a fraud. It is not legitamate. After calling the school several times today, speaking with the person that works for the school, she tried her best to help us with understanding that the school is accredited,only to find out that the school is registered with the Florida BOE, they have no known accrediting agencies listed that are true. Please I beg of anyone wanting to attend this school don't do it it is a waste of time and money. Needless to say now my daughter has to enroll in a GED course in order to be rehired to the daycare. And also the Lady that works for American Academy of Pinecrest, sent her son to this school as well. I can not stress all the problems that I encountered. I just hope and pray that no one else falls pray to this school. Class Selection no classes Teaching Quality no teachers Financial Aid paid a total of $299.00 Accreditation no accreditation

This school is NOT accredited at all. I found out the hard way when i applied for college, i had almost finished all the paperwork including financial aid, ect. Then i got a call from the admission rep telling me my high school diploma was worthless.      I graduated from *American Academy of Pinecrest *in 2007. I am so grateful for this school. It opened so many doors for me. I just recently got my AA from Miami Dade College and I'm transferring to FIU to get my Bachelors in International Business. It makes me so happy to know that there is this opportunity available for people.       I would definitely recommend this program to any one who wants to get their high school diploma from home and is looking to better themselves.
