Ahhh Vacation. — I love to travel, I love the beach and I love not being at work. Amelia Island Plantation had all of the makings of a fantastic vacation. Lush very natural almost rustic setting, beautiful wide Atlantic Ocean Beach (clean water, relatively clean beach), great weather (early June), warm, not humid, lovely ocean breeze. It is also very easy to get to from the Jacksonville airport, only a 35 min drive away. — So why only 3 stars? — First the good: As mentioned above the setting was very green and lush.
