I love my Ameda Purely Yours pump. I did a lot of research before buying my Ameda pump, and I'm glad I did. The pump itself is super easy to use, assemble, and diassemble. And you have very little to clean and sterilize. Which is fabulous considering how much of the baby's things you'll be cleaning. The suction and cycle spead are independently adjustable, which is very comfortable. The car adapter is nice! I loved being able to discreatly pump while on road trips. The hand held pump came with my kit, and I've used that a few times, it's very nice! I actually prefer it in the...
review »The Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump is a good bang for the buck. I used the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump during the seven months I breast fed my son. Initially I used it to increase my milk production. When my son was 3 months old and I went back to work part-time, I used it to pump my milk in the office. For the most part, the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump worked but I had to replace some of the smaller parts a few times. I would recommend getting one of their kits in a bag, which makes the pump easy to conceal. The kits also come with a little cooler pack so you can store your...
review »Usually, I make a lot of research before I purchase any item. Buying a breast pump was not any different. I knew i was going to breastfeed definitely, so i needed to buy a breast pump to help me breastfeed longer. My friend got a Medela dual electric and I was going to buy that as well, but decided to do some research first. I searched and checked out all the reviews for the different breastpumps and was almost sold on the Lansinoh pumps, but realised it was a new product. I finally decided on the Ameda purely yours. This has been the best decision I ever made regarding parenting! ...
review »I was very impressed with this pump. I researched (to death) breast pumps as I planned to keep nursing even after returning to work. As recommended by the Baby Bargains book- which is a must-read, I chose and bought this one from the other brands and I'm so happy I did! I used it for 9 mos straight, carried it back & forth to work- it was so lightweight that it wasn't an inconvenience during my 1.5hr commute to work. The best part about this pump ...
review »The Ameda Purely Yours is a great dual breast pump. I used mine for both of my kids so they could have pumped milk while I was at work. It works well and is easy to transport. It doesn't allow milk to be suctioned back into the pump which is a huge plus. It's similar to the Medela Pump In Style, but slightly less expensive. The bag is very discreet, easy to transport, and mine came with a little cooler bag and ice packs for keeping the milk cold.
With my first child, I started out with a single-sided Evenflo pump which was a waste of money and time. It worked well enough when I would...
review »This breast pump is wonderful! I used it almost daily for over a year and it worked wonderfully the entire time. I was a first time parent, and this pump was very easy to assemble. I, also liked that the pump was so easy to use. I had no idea what I was doing, and everything went very smoothly. I used mine mainly with the AC adaptor, but I did use batteries a couple of times, and it does take a lot of power, so be prepared with extra batteries. I also like that the bottle head was the same size as my hand pump, that was not the Ameda, so that I could interchange bottles, while pumping....
review »The Avent Purely Yours Breastpump is a great product. I used it for about 7 months and it worked perfect for me. And it wasn't very expensive either for being an electric double pumping breastpump. The Avent Purely Yours Breastpump is also very quiet too, I could it when my daughter was asleep and it didn't wake her up at all. The Avent Purely Yours Breastpump is small and very light too. It can fit on your lap while you use it or on the arm of a chair. I like the Avent Purely Yours Breastpump because it is a double pumping breastpump. Meaning that it does both breasts at the same time. Which saves...
review »For my second son I considered buying an expensive breastpump as I wanted to breastfeed my son until he was at least six months. I read reviews and investigated the different breastpumps. There were several expensive breast pumps promising to be durable, lightweight and comfortable. I had decided to buy a particular brand when I was given an Ameda Purely Yours Breastpump. I had never heard much about this brand but thought since it was given to me as a gift I would try it out. What I found was I love this breastpump. It is lightweight, easy to carry anywhere and very comfortable. You can pump both...
review »The Ameda Purely Yours electric breast pump is a must have for all breastfeeding mothers. I compared a lot of different pumps and this one is reasonably priced compared to many of the others. It also works great. It is quiet, fast and virtually pain free. It not only works great but it comes with a very discreate carrying bag, which is nice for work, etc. I also comes with a little insulated bag and small bottles for storage which is really nice and it is very quick and easy to set up and tear down once finished. It is a dual electric pump, so you get done in half the time and...
review »After originally purchasing a $50 pump and having it break after only 2 uses, I was reluctant to spend $150 for the Ameda pump just for occasional uses which would allow my husband to take care of the baby. I did a lot of research and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I've used the pump 6-7 times a week for the past 7 months and have never experienced any problems with it. I love that the tubing is sealed and you never have to clean it. Using the pump itself, is very easy and quick. I'm done within 15 minutes and I spend a quick 3 minutes cleaning the pump parts when I'm...
review »My First son decided he didn't want to nurse from me anymore, but knowing that breastmilk is the best for a baby, and not wanting to fork over money for expensive formula, I decided to buy the Ameda Purely Yours breast pump and give him my milk in bottles. I used this pump several times a day for about eight months. I had enough milk saved up in the freezer that I had a month worth of feedings after I stopped pumping. Now baby number two is here and thankfully loves to nurse, but I still pull out this pump to have a bottle on hand for when I'm going to leave him with a babysitter or go somewhere...
review »I had initally bought a different breast pump for about 40 dollars. After trying over and over to pump without much success, I finally acquired this pump through the WIC program. I have to say that this pump is wonderful! It's very comfortable and easy to use. It's also very fast and effective. It only takes me about 15 to 20 minutes to completely empty both breasts. Thanks to this pump, I am able to leave my baby with my husband and other family members while I run errands. It's been a life-saver! I would DEFINATELY reccommend this product.
