This is a 120 minute DVD with 14 different supposedly relaxing scenes. There are a number of scenes I am not thrilled with. One looks like a swirling lava lamp in the sky or something. I honestly don't know what it is but I sense no relaxation when I watch it, just confusion. There are a couple of other computer generated scenes that are quite obvious and don't look real. Other scenes are OK but not breathtaking or exceptional.

One thing I really don't like is that there is no option for natural sounds. I have an option of a couple of kinds of music but I prefer the natural sounds of nature to contemporary or classical music. Another kind of odd thing is that this DVD doesn't play from start to finish. It seems to pick a scene and play it, sometimes a few times, sometimes twice in three scenes, rather just going from start to finish. I generally choose the scenes I want to see, though, because I don't like some at all and have no desire to watch them.

This DVD disappointed me. It promised so much and turned out dull and annoying. I suppose people find different things relaxing but I just found this DVD annoying. Even though there are a couple of scenes I think are nice, in all, I rarely watch this DVD. I like the rain on the pond and the moon looks pretty but only for a few minutes and then it is like my TV broke and the picture is stuck there on a still setting.

My Viewpoint

This DVD annoyed me and, although there are a few scenes I think are pretty or relaxing, the whole DVD bugs me and I feel I wasted my money on it. I have reviewed other relaxation DVDs here and you can get an idea of what I think is better than this one by searching for "relaxation DVDs". 2 stars for this one.
